The dual grit whetstone has two sides: one side is 3000 grit, the other is 8000 grit.
This whetstone offers a high quality blade sharpening experience that will leave you with knives sharp as the day you bought them. This I.O.Shen Mastergrade 3000/8000 Grit Whetstone should be cleaned by hand only by using a light detergent and some warm water. It should never be placed in the dishwasher or submerged in water and it should be dried properly before each use.
