From stars to steel. Clare Smyth MBE is the first British female chef to run a restaurant with three Michelin stars.
Her journey with food began on a farm in Country Antrim in Northern Ireland, where she grew up. Since moving to England at the age of 16, she has trained and worked in some of the most celebrated kitchens in the world.
She launched her restaurant Core by Clare Smyth in London in 2017 and Oncore in Sydney in 2021. Core received the prestigious three Michelin star rating just three years after its opening.
Clare’s dedication to precision and excellence is reflected in the Cutler & Smyth range, which was born after months of research, honing designs, and testing proto-types. Clare is passionate about empowering people to cook and believes that the right knives can ignite a spark in every home chef.
