Gorse Handmade Knives
Our kitchen knives are painstakingly hand forged and crafted from Aogami laminated Japanese steel, with folded iron siding supports a harder high carbon steel blade. Instead of using awkward hidden tang handles, at Gorse Knives we use European style slab handles alongside Japanese inspired blades. Our knives have sustainable olive wood and buffalo horn handles finished in danish oil and our own orange oil and bees wax polish. All of our kitchen knives are hand made at our Kennington workshop in south London, by artisan Alexander O’Neill.
